ACQUITY UPLC Columns (IVD)

ACQUITY UPLC Columns (IVD)

Combine faster separations with increased chromatographic resolution and analytical sensitivity

Combine faster separations with increased chromatographic resolution and analytical sensitivity

Improving efficiency and data quality in the clinical laboratory is a challenge. Waters offers ACQUITY UPLC Columns for LC-MS/MS in vitro diagnostics (IVD) analysis in the clinical laboratory, which harness the potential of sub-2-µm particles for faster separations with increased chromatographic resolution and analytical sensitivity.

As with all Waters ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) columns, ACQUITY UPLC Columns (IVD) are designed, tested, and guaranteed for use in applications up to 18,000 psi (1,241 bar). With ACQUITY UPLC Columns (IVD), your lab can:

  • Meet analysis requirements with particle technologies ethylene bridged hybrid (BEH) and high strength silica (HSS)
  • Meet internationally recognized quality standards with respect to medical devices

Overview

  • Achieve faster separations with increased chromatographic resolution and analytical sensitivity by harnessing the full potential of sub-2-µm particles
  • Ensure column performance and long column lifetime under harsh operating conditions with BEH technology
  • Increase the mechanical stability of silica and achieve increased retentivity with HSS technology

Recommended Use: For achieving faster separations with increased chromatographic resolution and analytical sensitivity with LC-MS/MS in the clinical laboratory.

Ensure reproducibility in extreme conditions with BEH

Ethylene bridged hybrid (BEH) technology ensures column performance and long column lifetime under harsh operating conditions. ACQUITY UPLC BEH Columns offer unprecedented levels of reproducibility, efficiency, and chemical stability with industry-leading mobile phase pH (1-12) and temperature (80 orC) compatibility, helping deliver consistently accurate results for your most rigorous assays.

Meet silica-based selectivity requirements with HSS

To complement Waters BEH technology, a mechanically tolerant, silica-based material was designed to withstand UPLC pressures. High strength silica (HSS) particle technology significantly increases the mechanical stability of silica and provides increased retentivity.

The ACQUITY HSS T3 Column is ideally suited for the enhanced retention of polar compounds and metabolites by reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
