Now you can use a single label that provides valuable information from characterization to routine monitoring. Glycan analysis just got easier and more sensitive. This starter kit includes the GlycoWorks Deglycosylation Module, GlycoWorks Labeling Module, GlycoWorks Clean-up Module, GlycoWorks Sample Collection Module, as well as the ACQUITY UPLC Glycan BEH Amide, 1.7 µm, 2.1 x 150 Column and Mobile-Phase Concentrate: Ammonium Formate. This new model makes it possible to get the ionization capability necessary to maximize the information generated during MS detection. With speedier deglycosylation and streamlined labeling, the new process stops you from having to choose between fast labeling and sensitivity in MS.

By creating a 3-step process that can be done in as little as 30 minutes, the GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS N-Glycan Start Kit offers unique chemical attributes for increased fluorescence quantification and supreme mass spectral responses.

The starter kit includes enough material for 24 samples in a 3x8 format. If needed, a GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS N-Glycan Refill Kit-24 sample can be purchased.

What Is Delycosylation?

Glycosylation is a reaction in which a carbohydrate (ie, a glycosyl donor) is attached to a hydroxyl or other functional group of another molecule (ie, a glycosyl acceptor). Essentially, this is when a sugar entity is attached to glycogen. N-linked glycans attached to a nitrogen, requiring participation of a special lipid. Thus, deglycosylation is the removal of a sugar entity from glycogen, especially from a glycoprotein. A variety of enzymes can be used to remove the glycans from the proteins or to remove some part of the sugar chain.
