Simply the method development process using the four different chemistries available in the Torus Column Screening Kit. All the lab equipment is based on a new patent-pending two-stage functionalization of the ethylene bridged hybrid (BEH) particles. This two-stage bonding addresses the issue of the modification of the stationary phase surface during traditional SFC separations, which causes chromatographic variation. The Torus chemistries are specially designed to deliver stationary phases with broad-ranging selectivities, which maintain robust chromatographic performance throughout the lab equipment’s lifetime.
We recommend that you also invest in the UPC2 QC Reference Material, which gives convergence chromatographic performance data for both chiral and achiral modes. The UPC2 QC Reference Material is a mixture of 0.50 mg/mL (+/-) trans-Stilbene oxide, 0.50 mg/mL Thymine, 0.50 mg/mL Sulfamethoxazole, and 0.50 mg/mL Sulfamethizole, in a 1 mL solution of 75:25 ACN:MeOH. All four of these compounds are compatible with UV detection.
