XTerra MS C18 Column, 125Å, 3.5 µm, 4.6 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

Leverage superior pH stability compared to a silica-based column by using the XTerra MS C18 Column. The lab equipment is a general-purpose, hybrid-based, reversed-phase C18 column that has been designed to be compatible with mass spectrometry applications. With the XTerra MS C18 column, you get sharp peak shapes, good sensitivity, and large peak capacities. This is made possible by leveraging the tri-functional bonding chemistry of the XTerra particles. When it is compared to conventional silica-based columns, the lab equipment delivers one of the longest lifetimes over the widest pH range (1-12), along with providing maximum throughput with outstanding resolution and ultra-low column bleed.

The packing materials of the XTerra MS C18 column have been synthesized using Waters Hybrid Particle Technology. As the particles contain both inorganic (silica) and organic (organosiloxane) components, they offer a powerful combination of the advantages of both the silica and organosiloxane components. This hybrid technology makes it possible for the XTerra MS C18 column to provide high efficiency of separation and improved pH stability when compared to silica-based reversed-phase packing materials.

Only ultrapure reagents are used in the manufacturing of the XTerra MS C18 Column, and the control of the chemical composition and purity of the hybrid particle is ensured. Every manufacturing step is carefully monitored and conducted within narrow tolerances. In addition to this, each column undergoes individual testing to make sure you receive only the best quality lab equipment. To guarantee this quality, certificates of Batch Analysis and Column Efficiency are also provided with each column.

The VanGuard Cartridge has been designed to protect your analytical column from harm and extend its lifetime by removing harmful chemicals and particulate matter from the mobile phase. The lab equipment uses the identical packing material that is present in the column so you continue to get optimum performance.

What Advantages Does Mass Spectrometry Offer?

Mass Spectrometry offers the capacity to study numerous molecules regardless of whether they are from the same structural family or not, the capacity to highlight the specific metabolites of a disease, and it is an automated technique offering the possibility of large-scale analysis.
