XTerra MS C8 Column, 125Å, 5 µm, 4.6 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

Add the XTerra MS C8 Column to your lab equipment collection as it is a general-purpose, hybrid-based, reversed-phase C8 column that is designed to be compatible with mass spectrometry applications. These first-generation columns provide superior pH stability compared to a silica-based column.

Since the XTerra MS C8 Column is designed for Mass Spectrometry applications, it is able to deliver crisp peak forms, high sensitivity, as well as large peak capacities. The lab equipment, which uses the XTerra particles' tri-functional bonding chemistry, provides one of the longest lives over the largest pH range, especially when compared to conventional silica-based columns that are available in the market. This is in addition to delivering high throughput, excellent resolution, and minimal column bleed.

Waters Hybrid Particle Technology is used to create the XTerra packing materials, which include both inorganic (silica) and organic (organosiloxane) components, providing a potent mix of both advantages. When compared to silica-based reversed-phase packing materials, this hybrid technology allows the XTerra MS C8 Column to provide great separation efficiency and better pH stability.

The XTerra MS C8 column is made with ultrapure reagents to ensure that the chemical composition and purity of the hybrid particle are maintained. Every stage of the production process is meticulously regulated and carried out within tight tolerances. In addition to this, each column is thoroughly examined to ensure that you receive only the highest-quality lab equipment. Certificates of Batch Analysis and Column Efficiency are included with each column so you can be confident in its quality.

We recommend that you also purchase the LCGC Certified Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk, which will provide you with inert storage for your samples and analytes while you await the analysis.

Is There A Pressure Limit On The XTerra MS C8 Column?

The XTerra MS C8 Column listed here works well with up to 6000 psi (415 Bar) pressure. It is important to note, however, that the maximum pressure limit is contingent upon the use of the appropriate pH, temperature, and buffers.

What pH Range Does The XTerra MS C8 Column Offer?

The XTerra MS C8 Column listed here offers a working pH range of 1 to 12.
