Product Description

Primarily supports legacy methods. BioSuite Peptide Analysis columns consist of two premier reversed-phase column chemistries specifically optimized for peptide mapping from simple to complicated digests. BioSuite PA Columns are available in various configurations for LC or LC-MS applications, including 250 mm lengths for ultra high resolution.   These BioSuite PA-A and PA-B columns provide excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility for consistent results and are uniquely QC tested specifically for peptide mapping.  BioSuite C18 3 µm PA-A is a 100 Å, difunctional bonded, low ligand density, silica-based reversed-phase column and  BioSuite C18 3.5 µm PA-B is a 300 Å, high ligand density, monofunctional, silica-based  reversed-phase column.

BioSuite C18 PA-A Column, 100Å, 3 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 1K - 15K, 1/pk

A silica-based dielectrically bonded column with a low ligand density is the BioSuite C18 PA-A Column. It is an ideal option for use as a column in LC-MS applications that use formic acid (FA) to reduce ion suppression because it has been specifically created for great polar peptide retention. The BioSuite C18 PA-A Column performs effectively with TFA concentrations of 0.025 percent TFA in conventional HPLC separations.

The BioSuite C18 PA-A Column is manufactured in a special Waters chromatography chemistry production plant under the most stringent cGMP, ISO 9002 guidelines. In the production plant, solid-phase extraction devices and lab equipment are assembled with silica-based and polymeric chromatographic materials. This ensures that you will have top-notch lab equipment that will produce accurate and dependable analytical results.

Two elite reversed-phase column chemistries that are specially designed for peptide mapping from straightforward to intricate digests make up the BioSuiteTM Peptide Analysis columns. These BioSuite PA-A and PA-B columns are QC tested for peptide mapping and offer high batch-to-batch reproducibility for reliable results. In contrast to BioSuite PA-B, which is a high ligand density, monofunctional, silica-based reverse-phase column, BioSuite C18 PA-A Column is a 100Å, difunctional bonded, low ligand density column.

For LC or LC/MS applications, BioSuite PA Columns come in a variety of formats, including 250 mm lengths for ultra-high resolution. The Waters website allows you to browse the whole selection and can be used to shop for lab equipment. It offers information on every product in our portfolio.

We recommend that you also purchase the Deactivated Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk. In order to prevent compound absorption onto the glass surface when working with biological or pharmaceutical substances, natural products, insecticides, and herbicides, the vial has been specially coated. Additionally, glass vials are treated with a gas-phase reactive organosilane to make the glass chemically inert, hydrophobic, and compatible with glass-sensitive compounds. This prevents the glass from coming into contact with your substance.
