XBridge BEH C18 Column, 130Å, 5 µm, 4.6 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

Waters recognizes C18 as the HPLC phase that is the workhorse of LC method development, useful for a wide variety of separations. XBridge BEH C18 Columns offer this flexibility for methods development, with trifunctional bonding and advanced end-capping, scientists choose these columns for their excellent reproducibility, performance, and column lifetime across the entire pH range. The trifunctionally bonded C18 ligand provides a universal column for most HPLC separations, giving you access to the widest usable pH range, superior low pH stability, and ultra-low column bleed.

Traditionally, chromatographers have had to rely on separate pieces of lab equipment for each pH level to prevent premature column degradation, But with BEH technology particles from Waters, the novel and innovative bonding process used, and proprietary end-capping technologies, XBridge BEH C18 Columns can be used at a higher pH than conventional columns. This allows for pH switching, use at both high and low pH conditions, without a decrease in performance. This eliminates the time required to change columns and the need to have multiple columns on hand.

With the use of BEH Technology, particles are designed for improved column performance and long column lifetime, even under harsh and demanding LC operating conditions. The state-of-the-art synthesis techniques used in the design and development of Waters’ LC columns allow for usable lifetimes that far exceed other leading conventional HPLC column brands across the range of pH. To further protect columns and extend lifetimes, Waters recommends the use of an XBridge BEH C18 VanGuard Cartridge, 130Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk.

What Is Included When I Order An XBridge BEH C18 Column?

Each order includes one column and documentation. A Certificate of Analysis will be located on the technical information CD and is specific to each batch of packing material contained in the column. This includes the batch number, analysis of unbonded particles, analysis of bonded particles, and chromatographic results and conditions. A Performance Test Chromatogram is also included and is specific to each individual column. This contains the batch number, column serial number, USP plate count, USP tailing factor, retention factor, and chromatographic conditions.
