Product Description

ACQUITY BEH HILIC columns contain unbonded BEH substrate and are designed to retain and separate very polar compounds. These unique columns are optimized and tested to produce efficient, reproducible separations under HPLC HILIC conditions. More rugged than silica based HILIC phases, the BEH particle’s chemical stability results in long column lifetimes.

ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

The unique ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column has been optimized and tested to produce efficient, reproducible separations under HPLC HILIC conditions. The lab equipment contains unbonded BEH substrates and has been designed to retain and separate very polar compounds. The combination of the silica-based HILIC phases with the BEH particle’s chemical stability results in long column lifetimes.

The ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column uses the Hydrophilic-Interaction Chromatography (HILIC), which is a complementary chromatographic technique that can be used to successfully improve the retention of very polar species. In addition to this, it provides an orthogonal separation mode for mixtures of polar and ionizable compounds. This is made possible by using an acetonitrile-rich, low-aqueous mobile phase that is combined with a polar stationary phase to elute analytes in order of increasing hydrophilicity.

Use the ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column to achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency, peak symmetry, and chemical stability. The analytical column offers the delivery of exceptionally low as well as high-pH stability for very polar analytes. The use of the ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column gives the user the leverage of utilizing a wide mobile phase pH range (1-9). In addition to this, the analytical column offers an operating pressure of up to 18,000 psi (1240 bar) to achieve outstanding analysis.

Depend on the ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column to impact the retention, selectivity, and sensitivity of ionizable compounds. The packing materials used in the ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column have been designed specifically for use with the ACQUITY UPLC System, giving exceptional performance.

Like all our lab equipment, the ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column is made in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant using ultra-pure reagents. Additionally, to ensure that your lab received only quality equipment, each batch of the ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC Column packing material is tested chromatographically with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, and the results are held to tight scrutiny to make sure of the intended excellent, reproducible performance.

To find the complete range of our analytical columns and their guards, browse through our website. The website will also guide you towards compatible products to be used in conjunction with the columns to complete your analytical range, as well as to shop for lab equipment.

What Can HILIC Be Used For?

The HILIC mode of separation can be applied extensively for the separation of some biomolecules, organic and some inorganic molecules by differences in polarity.
