XBridge BEH C18 OBD Prep Column, 130Å, 5 µm, 50 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

Based on Waters’ Optimum Bed Density (OBD) technology, XBriidge BEH C19 OBD Prep Columns are designed to enable fast, efficient, lab-scale separations for chromatographers looking to increase productivity. With higher recoveries and longer column lifetimes, these columns offer the ability to directly scale from UPLC, UHPLC, or HPLC screen to lab-scale purification. By eliminating inconsistencies in column-to-column performances, XBridge BEH C19 OBD Prep Columns are able to improve column lifetimes, prevent lost samples, repeat purification runs, and reduce poor scalability.

Known as the workhorse for HPLC method development, the XBridge BEH C18 sorbent can be used over an entire range of mobile phase pH (1 to 12). The trifunctionally bonded C18 ligand is the base of this universal column, suitable for most HPLC separations and offering chromatographers the widest usable pH range, superior pH stability, and ultra-low column bleed. OBD technology is designed to exhibit exceptional resistance to mechanical chromatographic bed failure, delivering consistent performance and reducing cost through extended lifetimes, requiring less replacement of lab equipment over time. Preparative Chromatography Mixed Standard can be used to further verify reproducibility.

XBridge BEH C18 Prep Columns are packed to specified bed densities through an innovative procedure that creates columns with exceptional stability, efficiency, and reproducibility to allow for easy scaling. When using these columns, chromatographers gain access to Waters’ OBD Preparative Columns calculator, a convenient scale-up tool. It provides mass loading scaling, gradient scaling with appropriate flow rate scale-up and predicting volume consumption, calculations for split flow rations when using MS driven chromatography, and focused gradient UPLC or UHPLC to preparative method transfer.

What Is Included With My XBridge BEH C18 OBD Prep Column?

Each column from the XBridge family arrives with a Certificate of Analysis and a Performance Test Chromatogram. The Certificate of Analysis is located on the enclosed technical information CD and is specific to each batch of packing material contained in the column. This will include the batch number, analysis of unbonded and bonded particles, and chromatographic results and conditions. The Performance Test Chromatogram is specific to the individual column and contains the batch number, column serial number, USP plate count and USP tailing factor, retention factor, and chromatographic conditions.
