XBridge BEH HILIC Column, 130Å, 3.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk
The unbonded BEH substrates in the Waters XBridge BEH HILIC columns allow you to keep and separate extremely polar chemicals that are difficult to maintain and separate using typical reversed-phase chromatography. Because BEH particles are more durable than silica-based HILIC phases, they have longer column lifetimes. Under HPLC HILIC settings, the specialized lab equipment is designed and validated to generate efficient, repeatable separations.
The XBridge BEH HILIC Column makes it simple to achieve improved retention for polar analytes. Complex retention mechanisms that integrate partitioning, ion exchange, and hydrogen bonding are enabled by the presence of HILIC technology in the column. The XBridge Column also offers better retention than reversed-phase columns because it uses a polar stationary phase paired with mobile phases containing acetonitrile concentrations greater than 80%. In addition to reversed-phase columns, the analytical column provides complimentary selectivity.
When compared to standard reversed-phase columns, the XBridge BEH HILIC Column provides alternate selectivity. In addition, when compared to silica-based HILIC columns, the lab equipment can deliver better peak form, retention, and column longevity. The XBridge BEH HILIC Column is built on the strong and resilient BEH Technology, which makes the lab equipment a new benchmark for HILIC separations. Because of the special characteristics of Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography, the analytical column makes this possible (HILIC).
The adoption of the XBridge BEH HILIC Column has resulted in elution reversal in addition to increased retentivity. When developing orthogonal separations for polar analytes, this is extremely useful. The XBridge BEH HILIC Column is also available in a variety of configurations. More information regarding the chemistry of the column can be found in our catalog or on our website's technology guides, and you can shop for lab equipment from there as well.
Compatible with the XBridge BEH HILIC Column, we recommend you check out the XBridge BEH HILIC VanGuard Cartridge, 130Å, 3.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk; XBridge BEH HILIC VanGuard Cartridges are used to extend analytical column lifetime and performance by removing particulate contamination from the mobile phase stream. This cartridge is optimized to protect all 2.1 mm and 3.0 mm I.D. XBridge BEH HILIC analytical columns containing 3.5 µm sorbent particles.
What Pressure And pH Range Can One Use With The XBridge BEH HILIC?
The maximum operating pressure for the XBridge BEH HILIC is 6000 psi (415 Bar), along with a pH range of 1 to 9. It is important to note that pressures and pH greater than the mentioned operational range should be avoided as they can result in reduced column lifetime and decreased column performance.
