XBridge BEH HILIC columns contain unbonded BEH substrate and are designed to retain and separate very polar compounds. These unique columns are optimized and tested to produce efficient, reproducible separations under HPLC HILIC conditions. More rugged than silica based HILIC phases, the BEH particle’s chemical stability results in long column lifetimes.

Get enhanced retention for polar analytes with the XBridge BEH HILIC Column. The HILIC technology used in the column offers complex retention mechanisms combining partitioning, ion exchange, and hydrogen bonding. You also get greater retention than reversed-phase as retention occurs with a polar stationary phase combined with mobile phases made up of acetonitrile concentrations greater than 80%. The analytical column also offers complimentary selectivity to reversed-phase columns. In addition to improved retentivity, reversal in elution has also been observed which is beneficial when developing orthogonal separations for polar analytes.
