ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 3 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

The majority of reversed-phase LC separations globally make use of columns that contain C18 or C8 bonded stationary phases because of the stability, retentivity, and reproducibility of the lab equipment. These hydrophobic ligands are known to most often provide the desired separations. With this in mind, ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 Columns were designed to be the universal column of choice for UPLC separations and to provide the widest possible pH range. These columns incorporate trifunctional ligand bonding chemistries, which produce superior low pH stability and ultra-low column bleed.

The low pH stability of these chemistries is combined with the high pH stability of the 1.7 µm BEH particle, delivering the widest usable pH operating range. The ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 Column also utilizes new, proprietary end-capping processes that produce outstanding peak shape for bases. This combination of bonding chemistries and particle synthesis innovations produces the sharpest peaks, highest efficiencies, and maximum MS sensitivities.

ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 Columns provide an unprecedented level of peak asymmetry, efficiency, and chemical stability. They also offer long column lifetimes which can be further extended through the use of ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 VanGuard Pre-column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. ACQUITY UPLC BEH Columns are designed to work with the ACQUITY UPLC system only; use of the columns on conventional HPLC systems is not recommended.

All materials are manufactured in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant that uses ultra-pure reagents. Each batch of material is tested chromatographically with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, with results held to narrow specification ranges.

What Information Is Included On The eCord Chip For ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 Columns?

The eCord Chip includes identifying information for the column, including chemistry type, column dimensions, and serial number. Overall column usage information will include the total number of samples, total number of injections, total sample sets, date of first injection, date of last injection, maximum pressure, and temperature. The column history will also be detailed by sample set including date started, sample set name, user name, system name, number of injections in the sample set, number of samples in the sample set, maximum pressure and temperature in the sample set, and if the column met basic suitability requirements.
