XSelect HSS T3 Column, 100Å, 5 µm, 4.6 mm X 250 mm, 1/pk
Use the XSelect HSS T3 Column to achieve the best separation in the laboratory and to overcome chromatography challenges. The XSelect HSS T3 Column uses the HSS (High Strength Silica) technology which has been developed by Waters to complement the chromatographic performance of BEH (Ethylene Bridged Hybrid) and CSH (Charged Surface Hybrid) particles.
The HSS technology embedded in the XSelect HSS T3 Column gives you distinct advantages over the BEH and CSH technologies. It offers higher silanophilicity which results in increased polar compound retention and significantly different selectivity. In addition to this, the High Strength Silica (HSS) technology has been developed to carry the mechanical strength necessary to work with the UPLC pressures.
The XSelect HSS T3 Column also offers supreme reproducibility and transferability. It possesses the chemical and physical characteristics for seamless scalability. The XSelect HSS T3 Column is the perfect lab equipment as it makes possible the higher resolution separations that are required for complex samples in order to isolate and quantify the sample constituents. It combines efficiency and selectivity to enhance the resolution of very complex samples.
Protect your analytical column and ensure its long lifetime by using the XSelect HSS T3 VanGuard Cartridge, 100Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. Designed to work especially with the XSelect HSS T3 Column, the VanGuard Cartridge is attached to the analytical column and protects it by removing any chemical and particulate contaminants from the mobile phase.

What Temperature Is Suitable For The XSelect HSS T3 Column?
In order to enhance selectivity, lower solvent viscosity and increase mass transfer rates, it is recommended that an operating temperature range of 20 °C to 45 °C be used for the XSelect HSS T3 Column. It is worth noting that any temperature above the recommended range will have a detrimental impact on the column’s lifetime, which will also be affected by the pH and the buffer conditions used. The combination of operating the column at high temperatures and pH ranges is not advised as this will reduce the column’s life as well as affect the performance.
