To assist in the characterization of recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and other biological compounds, Waters has developed a series of columns named the Protein-Pak Hi Res Ion-Exchange (IEX) columns. The lab equipment features particles that have non-porous, high compound binding capacity and yield an outstanding resolution of charged species in less time compared to the use of many traditional porous IEX offerings. In addition to this, to ensure consistent batch-to-batch performance quality, control testing with defined protein standards is conducted, with the results held to stringent levels.
