Product Description

The XSelect HSS T3 is a low-coverage C18 phase compatible with 100% aqueous mobile phase and should be your first choice when developing separations for polar and non-polar compounds. The XSelect HSS T3 columns exhibit ultra-low MS bleed and are fully scalable and transferable to UPLC separations. Packed in ultra-low dispersion hardware, 2.5 µm eXtended Performance [XP] columns enable exceptional separation performance, robustness and throughput for HPLC assays while enabling a seamless transition path toward UPLC adoption.

XSelect HSS T3 XP Column, 100Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

Get increased retention for polar compounds compared to the traditional C18 phase with the XSelect HSS T3 XP Column. The reversed-phase analytical column exhibits superior performance when using up to 100% aqueous mobile phases. When using standard reversed-phase mobile phases for mixtures of polar and non-polar compounds, the XSelect HSS T3 XP Column gives the widest retention capability.

Use enhanced selectivity for acidic, alkaline, and neutral compounds using the XSelect HSS T3 XP Column. The column offers a winning combination of efficiency and selectivity to enhance resolution of very complex samples, saving you valuable time and effort when developing a chromatographic assay. The higher silanophilicity of the HSS particle offers you advantages such as increased polar compound retention and significantly different selectivity when compared to BEH and CSH particles. In addition to this, you also get outstanding reproducibility and transferability with the XSelect HSS T3 XP Column.

All Waters lab equipment is manufactured to the highest industrial standards in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant using ultra-pure reagents. Further, every column is individually tested to ensure that you only receive quality products that give reliable and reproducible results.

Look through our catalog for more products like the one listed here as well as finding products that are compatible with them to complete the range of lab equipment. The catalog also allows you to shop for lab equipment and lists the locations of our offices and details of contacting our staff worldwide.

You may also be interested in using the XSelect HSS T3 XP VanGuard Cartridge, 100Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk to prolong the lifetime of your analytical column. The VanGuard Cartridge is manufactured using the same packing materials as the analytical column, making the lab equipment compatible. It works by removing all chemical and particulate contamination from the mobile phase, thus not only increasing the column’s life, but also ensuring the reliability of the results.

What Pressure Does The XSelect HSS T3 XP Column Best Work Under?

Though XSelect HSS T3 XP Column has been designed to sustain pressures of up to 6000 psi (400 bar or 40 Mpa), it is recommended that pressures between 4000-5000 psi are used as any pressure greater than these may result in decreased column performance and lifetime.
