XSelect CSH C18 XP Column, 130Å, 2.5 µm, 3 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

With carefully chosen ligands and proprietary Charged Surface Hybrid (CSH) technology, the XSelect family of Waters columns has redefined the definition of a broad, selective, and modern range of HPLC columns and lab equipment. This offers chromatographers uniquely selective columns that deliver high analyte loading, operational stability, and full scalability for UPLC, HPLC, and preparative separation platforms. The XSelect CSH C18 XP Column is a general-purpose C18 column in this family, offering alternative selectivity compared to competing C18 sorbents.

As part of the XSelect eXtended Performance (XP) column group, these columns offer superior separation performance, robustness, and throughput in HPLC assays while remaining fully compatible with all HPLC, UHPLC, and UPLC technology platforms. Chromatographers see a 2-4X increase in productivity along with the unmatched selectivity and flexibility in XP columns, which can also withstand higher pressures than other columns.

By taking advantage of smaller particle technology like the 2.5 µm used here, laboratories have been able to increase throughput by reducing their overall analysis time. With a constant column length to particle size ratio, scaling LC methods in different particle sizes and column dimensions has become a straightforward approach to streamlining laboratory throughput.

The manufacturing of all XSelect CSH C18 XP Columns rely on ultrapure reagents and are manufactured in cGMP, ISO 9001 certified facilities in order to control the purity and chemical composition of the final products produced. These well-controlled processes in manufacturing have led to the industry’s leading reproducibility between batches. Testing can be performed in laboratories using Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material by Waters.

What Column Connections Are Available For XP 2.5 µm Columns?

XP 2.5 µm Columns, including the XSelect CSH C18 XP Column, are designed to operate on all HPLC< UHPLC, or UPLC systems. Because there is no industry standard, be aware that the type of fittings and connections on each system will vary by manufacturer. Fittings and connections should be mated specifically to a column when it is being installed. Chromatographic performance can be negatively impacted or leaking can occur in cases where the style of the column end-fitting does not properly match the size of the compression screw or ferrule tubing depth setting.
