XSelect HSS T3 XP Column, 100Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk
The XSelect HSS T3 is a low-coverage C18 phase compatible with 100% aqueous mobile phase and should be your first choice when developing separations for polar and non-polar compounds. The XSelect HSS T3 columns exhibit ultra-low MS bleed and are fully scalable and transferable to UPLC separations. Packed in ultra-low dispersion hardware, 2.5 µm eXtended Performance [XP] columns enable exceptional separation performance, robustness and throughput for HPLC assays while enabling a seamless transition path toward UPLC adoption.
The XSelect HSS T3 are manufactured with incredibly pure reagents that help to control the chemical composition and high purity of the final product. These columns are produced in a cGMP ISO 9001:2000 certified factory to ensure that your column exceeds the scrutinous standards of the lab equipment industry. Each column comes with a certificate of batch analysis and performance chromatogram so that you can rest assured that your LC column is durable and reliable.
Our proprietary High Strength Silica technology enables this powerful column to create unique selectivity, deliver high analyte loading, maintain reliable operational stability, and provide full scalability for HPLC and UPLC systems. The high silanophilicity of our 100% Silica HSS particles offer incredible levels of polar compound retention. It was also synthesized to be able to handle high pressures of up to 18000 PSI, which is commonly used in UPLC systems.
This column is designed for the separation of strong and weak acidic compounds in the pH range or 2-8. The XSelect HSS T3 XP column is optimally used for medium silanol activity and can be used in temperatures of up to 45 degrees celsius. This column will provide you with a reliable and sensitive liquid chromatography column to achieve unmatched batch to batch reproducibility.
This column is an incredibly valuable asset to your lab. Maximizing the lifetime of your chromatography columns can save you the astronomical cost of replacing your columns frequently. If you want to protect your XSelect HSS T3 from harmful contaminants you may want to check out the XSelect HSS T3 XP VanGuard Cartridge, 100Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. This column cartridge is used to extend analytical column lifetime and performance by removing particulate contamination from the mobile phase stream. This cartridge is optimized to protect all 2.1 mm and 3.0 mm I.D. XSelect HSS T3 analytical columns containing 2.5 µm sorbent particles.
What solvents can I use with the XSelect HSS T3?
In order to achieve the best possible column performance use high grade chromatography solvents. Make sure that you filter all aqueous buffers beforehand. In order to discourage bacterial growth the addition of at least 5% organic buffers is recommended. Solvents containing suspended particulate materials can clog your column and cause poor performance. Degas all solvents before use to prevent bubble formation. It is also recommended that you use an on-line degassing unit.
