CORTECS C18 Column, 90Å, 2.7 µm, 4.6 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

Add the CORTECS C18 Column to your lab to benefit from the versatility of the lab equipment. The CORTECS C18 Column is designed to be general-purpose, and deliver high-efficiency results. It is based on a solid-core particle that offers balanced retention of acids, bases, and neutrals at low and mid-range pH. Due to these attributes of the analytical column, you can get excellent peak shape for basic analytes at low pH.

Resolve complex mixtures or maintain resolution while increasing throughput using the general-purpose, charged surface CORTECS C18 Column. The column is able to deliver such exceptional results as the solid-core particles, on which the CORTECS C18 Column is based, give better performance by lowering each of the three terms of the van Deemter equation. The A term is lowered as the solid core particles pack more uniformly, while the B term is lowered as the solid core particles exhibit lower particle porosity which reduces axial diffusion. They lower the C term as their solid core improves heat transfer, reducing radial temperature gradients.

The column enables you to increase sample throughput with comparable or even better peak capacities by simply raising the flow rate of the method. Additionally, it also makes it possible to use a shorter column length compared to the original separation while maintaining similar peak capacities and delivering quicker re-equilibration time. Thus, you can reduce your lab operation costs by using the CORTECS C18 Column as it provides the speed of analysis without impairing separation performance, giving you the ability to run multiple samples in the same amount of time.

You may, for instance, want to check the CORTECS C18 VanGuard Cartridge, 90Å, 2.7 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk, which ensures that the analytical column lasts a long time and continues to deliver the same results throughout its life. This is made possible by protecting the column from any particulate or chemical contamination, thus saving the column’s analytical abilities and always providing reliable results.

What Temperature Can The CORTECS C18 Column Bear?

The CORTECS C18 Column works well with an operating temperature of up to 45 °C.
