Torus DEA Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk
Leverage the Torus DEA Column to deliver outstanding chromatographic results as it has been designed for excellent peak shape that eliminates or reduces the need for additives. The lab equipment also offers added selectivity for a wide range of compounds and improved robustness.
Achieve fast, robust achiral separations, using the Torus DEA Column. The column has been specifically designed to use the complete range of capabilities of the ACQUITY UPC2 System to deliver exceptional performance. Torus DEA Column simplifies the method development process with new and innovative 1.7 μm chemistry for convergence chromatography. This makes it easy for scientists to transfer SFC achiral separations from the analytical to preparative scale.
The Torus DEA Column is based on new bonding technology used to create an adaptive selectivity platform. Starting with the ethylene bridged hybrid (BEH) particle, the patent-pending bonding consists of a two-stage functionalization of chromatographic particles. The first stage controls retention characteristics and is applied to each sorbent. During the individual second stage, selectors impart the observed selectivity and control peak shape.

How Is Column Equilibration Performed For The Torus DEA Column?
Torus DEA Columns are shipped dry. To equilibrate the column, start with a minimum of 10-column volumes of the mobile phase prior to use. Thermal and chemical equilibration are equally important for chromatography. Ensure that the mobile phase is preheated before entering the column to prevent a thermal mismatch. This can be done by enabling active preheating on an ACQUITY UPC2 instrument.
