How Do I Change a VanGuard Cartridge?

Cartridge VanGuard Columns are made up of two parts: a reusable holder and a replaceable cartridge. For replacement, the following steps should be taken: Remove the LC inlet tubing from the column assembly first. Use a 7/16-inch and 3/8-inch wrench to remove the cartridge from the holder. It is not necessary to remove the holder from the analytical column. Remove the old guard column and replace it with the new one. Apply the same wrenches to the flats on the cartridge holder to tighten the cartridge. To ensure leak-free collection, connect the LC inlet tubing and use mobile phase flow.
