CORTECS HILIC VanGuard Cartridge, 90Å, 2.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk

CORTECS HILIC VanGuard Cartridges are used to enhance the lifetime and performance of analytical columns by eliminating particle pollution from the mobile phase stream. This cartridge is designed to protect all CORTECS HILIC analytical columns with 2.1 mm and 3.0 mm I.D. and 2.7 µm sorbent particles.

Using the CORTECS HILIC VanGuard Cartridge, you can achieve high levels of efficiency and performance while resolving complex blends or keeping resolution while increasing throughput. When compared to normal C18 columns, the CORTECS HILIC VanGuard Cartridge has orthogonal selectivity. It is an important piece of laboratory equipment because it is a high-efficiency column with a solid-core particle that is designed to hold strongly polar analytes.

You should expect faster separations and increased throughput if you use the CORTECS HILIC VanGuard Cartridge with the CORTECS HILIC Column. The lab equipment uses the Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography (HILIC) mode, which was designed to retain polar compounds where reversed-phase could not because reversed-phase uses unbonded solid-core particles. HILIC uses mobile phases with a high concentration of organic solvent, as opposed to reversed-phase chromatography, which uses a highly watery mobile phase for the retention of polar analytes. This allows it to operate directly with SPE eluates, allowing for faster sample preparation and greater throughput. Higher organic solvent contents enable more effective analyte desolvation in the MS source, resulting in improved MS response and sensitivity.

All Waters equipment is made to the highest standards in strict and controlled environments to ensure that you receive only the finest quality items. You can shop for lab equipment directly from us by visiting our online store or catalog. You can also contact a member of our team through either medium if you have any queries or issues about our products.

VanGuard columns, such as the XBridge BEH C18 VanGuard Cartridge, 130, 3.5 m, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk, are available in a variety of particle sizes and stationary phases, making them ideal for the physical and chemical protection of all analytical columns. VanGuard Cartridge Columns are made up of two parts: a holder and a cartridge, which can be purchased separately. The VanGuard Cartridge Holder connects a cartridge directly to the intake side of an analytical LC column.

What Does The Phrase 'The Expressions Of A Protein' Mean?

Protein expression refers to the process by which proteins are produced, altered, and regulated in living organisms. In protein research, the phrase can refer to either the target of investigation or the laboratory techniques required to make proteins.
