XSelect HSS C18 VanGuard Cartridge, 100Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk

By eliminating particle pollution from the mobile phase stream, XSelect HSS C18 VanGuard Cartridges are utilized to increase analytical column lifetime and performance. All 4.6 mm I.D. XSelect HSS C18 analytical columns with 5 µm sorbent particles are protected by this cartridge.

Waters created the HSS (High Strength Silica) base for the XSelect HSS C18 SB Column to enhance the chromatographic performance of BEH (Ethylene Bridged Hybrid) and CSH (Charged Surface Hybrid) particles. Benefits particular to chromatography are provided by the XSelect HSS C18 SB Columns, such as higher polar compound and varied selectivity. They have been designed to resist the UPLC pressures and are fully scalable and transferable to UPLC separations.

To protect the XSelect HSS C18 SB Columns, which are a great addition to your lab and let you achieve the best separation and address chromatographic difficulties, use the XSelect HSS C18 SB VanGuard Cartridge. Chromatographers can choose from a wide variety of lab supplies from Waters, including specialized columns with carefully selected ligands and High Strength Silica (HSS) Technology to ensure operational stability.

On our website, you can find a variety of items that are compatible with the XSelect HSS C18 SB VanGuard Cartridge. You can immediately shop for lab equipment from the website, as well as contact them with any questions you might have. You can contact a member of our staff at one of our many offices across the world with these questions and concerns.

We recommend you also review the DisQuE CEN Method Sample Preparation Kit, Pouches, Pouches. Empty clean-up tubes, salt pouches, and 50 mL centrifuge tubes are all included in the kit in quantities of 100 each. Trisodium citrate dihydrate, 0.5 g of disodium hydrogen-citrate sesquihydrate, 1 g of sodium chloride, and 4 g of magnesium sulfate are all included in each salt pouch in the kit. Each 2 mL DisQuE Clean-Up tube contains 150 mg of magnesium sulfate, 25 mg of PSA (primary-secondary amine SPE sorbent), and 25 mg of C18.

How Do I Replace the Cartridge for the VanGuard?

The VanGuard Cartridge, a two-piece column, has a replacement cartridge and a reusable holder. For replacement, follow the procedures specified below: Then, release the LC inlet tube from the column assembly. A 7/16-inch and 3/8-inch wrench is required to remove the cartridge from the holder. The holder doesn't need to be removed from the analytical column. Replace the old guard column with the new one. Use the same wrenches to the flats on the cartridge holder to tighten the cartridge. Rejoin the LC inlet tube and employ mobile phase flow to achieve a leak-free collection.
