CORTECS Shield RP18 VanGuard Cartridge, 90Å, 2.7 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk
CORTECS Shield RP18 VanGuard Cartridges are used to extend analytical column lifetime and performance by removing particulate contamination from the mobile phase stream. This cartridge is optimized to protect all 4.6 mm I.D. CORTECS Shield RP18 analytical columns containing 2.7 µm sorbent particles.
You may be confident that the CORTECS Shield RP18 VanGuard Cartridge will perform and protect your Waters analytical column for a long time because it is made with the same high-performance packing materials used in all of Waters analytical columns. The lab equipment was created specifically for scenarios requiring higher capacity for biological fluid purification and/or temperature control.
To protect your column from damage and extend its life, use the CORTECS Shield RP18 VanGuard Cartridge. Because the lab equipment is made of the same packing material as the CORTECS Shield RP18 column, it works perfectly with it. The cartridge is a piece of protective equipment that sits between the injector and the analytical column and keeps chemical contaminants and suspended particulates out of the analytical column.

Like all other Waters equipment, the CORTECS Shield RP18 VanGuard Cartridge is made in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant utilizing ultra-pure reagents. Furthermore, each batch of CORTECS Shield RP18 VanGuard Cartridge packing material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, and the results are held to the highest standards to ensure good, repeatable performance. Furthermore, each cartridge is tested and approved for its intended usage, ensuring that it will function at its best and improve the selectivity, sensitivity, and speed of your study.
We recommend that you also explore the Neutrals QC Reference Material. The Neutrals QC Reference Material is intended for use with any UV-detector-equipped chromatographic equipment. It's meant to be used as a benchmarking standard for systems. Only neutral chemicals are present in the mixture. The QC Reference Material will provide confidence in your results, minimize troubleshooting and re-run time, and enable cross-laboratory result comparisons when used regularly and control tracked. This reference material can be separated using a variety of approaches.
