ACQUITY Premier Oligonucleotide C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 x 50 mm, 1/pk
ACQUITY Premier Oligonucleotide Columns are used to separate detritylated synthetic oligonucleotides based on ion-pair, reversed-phase chromatography. This column is part of the MaxPeak Premier Class of Columns, which deliver the chromatographic performance expected from our particle technologies while increasing reproducibility, peak shape, and recovery for metal-sensitive analytes.
Belonging to the MaxPeak Premier family of columns, the ACQUITY Premier Oligonucleotide C18 Column utilizes the MaxPeak Premier features and enables you to receive reduced column conditioning and passivation times, along with simpler mobile phases without complex additives. Combined with the tri-functionally bonded BEH particle technology, the ACQUITY Premier Oligonucleotide C18 Column will save you time in method development and provide you with exceptional peak shape for basic analytes at elevated pH, stable across a range of 1 - 12 pH and high temperature.
Similar to all the lab equipment produced and distributed by Waters, the ACQUITY Premier Oligonucleotide C18 Column is made using ultrapure reagents, ensuring the control of the chemical composition and purity of the hybrid particle. The manufacturing process is carefully monitored and controlled every step of the way within very narrow tolerances. Each column is QC tested using Waters MassPrep OST standards to ensure repeatable performance for your most demanding oligonucleotide assays. To give you the peace of mind of having quality equipment, Certificates of Batch Analysis and Column Efficiency are provided with each column. Waters creates lab equipment you can rely on and enables you to be able to have reproducible results batch over batch. All Water manufacturing plants and facilities follow the cGMP and ISO 9001 conditions.
By using our website or browsing through our brochure, you can shop for lab equipment to meet the demanding needs of your laboratory. You might also want to review the MassPREP Oligonucleotide Standard; The prepackaged MassPREP ™ Oligonucleotide Separation Technology (OST) Standard is designed for verification of HPLC/UPLC instrument and column performance for the analysis of synthetic oligonucleotides.
Approximately equimolar amounts of 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 nucleotides (nt) long oligo-deoxythymidine are lyophilized and packaged in 1.5 ml LC vials. The shipped vial is vacuum-sealed in foil pouches to reduce degradation that can occur by excessive exposure to light and air. It is recommended that this standard be used on a regular basis for benchmarking column and system performance, similar to the QCRM product line.
What Is The Carbon Load That The ACQUITY Premier Oligonucleotide C18 ColumnCan Support?
The ACQUITY Premier Oligonucleotide C18 Column can support a carbon load of 18%, along with a particle size of 1.7 µm and featuring pore Size of 130 Å. It can also sustain a maximum pressure of 18000 psi (or 1240 Bar).
