Product Description

The ACQUITY Premier Peptide BEH C18 Column, 300Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm Peptide Separation Technology Columns have been specially optimized and QC tested with cytochrome c digest standards (p/n: 186006371) for peptide separations. The wide-pore (300Å) trifunctionally bonded BEH particle offers the widest usable pH range, superior low pH stability, and ultra-low column bleed to assay samples for especially large peptides in proteomics, protein characterization, and peptide synthesis. 2.1mm ID columns are recommended for use with low dispersion (UPLC or UHPLC) systems, especially for LC-MS methods. This column is part of the MaxPeak Premier Class of Columns, which deliver the chromatographic performance expected from our particle technologies while increasing reproducibility, peak shape, and recovery for metal-sensitive analytes.

Suggested Use: Peptide Separations, Peptide Analysis

ACQUITY Premier Peptide BEH C18 Column, 300Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 x 150 mm, 1/pk

Prioritize speed and resolution in peptide separations with the ACQUITY Premier Peptide BEH C18 Column. Thanks to the Ethylene-Bridged Hybrid (BEH) particle technology in this silica column, you can perform size-exclusionary or reverse-phase chromatographic separations and get terrific peak shape delivered right back. And because data reproducibility is of the utmost importance when you’re hard at work in the lab, this column provides ultra-low bleed so you can remain confident in your data. What’s more, the ACQUITY Premier Peptide BEH C18 Column has earned the MaxPeak designation, which means this UPLC column employs breakthrough technology to reduce unwanted analyte-surface interactions.

Proteomics by nature presents a series of obstacles that even the most experienced scientists will have to overcome. That’s why the ACQUITY Premier Peptide BEH C18 Column was designed specifically for those assays and others involving peptide separations, including protein characterization. But even more than that, this UPLC column provides outstanding mechanical stability at increased temperatures needed for peptide mapping, and it offers a wide pH range to accommodate various analytes. Add in the MaxPeak High-Performance Surface technology and it’s easy to see why so many scientists turn to this product for protein analysis.

Need to use TFA-containing eluents?
Thanks to the low-positive-charged surface contained in this column, you can do exactly that. But that’s not the only flexibilities offered by the ACQUITY Premier Peptide BEH C18 Column, as this UPLC tool provides incredible chemical stability. Couple that with the small pore size and increased resolution compared to other columns and it becomes immediately apparent why ACQUITY Premier Columns exist at the forefront of the market.

Even if you’re not performing proteomics-related assays, you’ll want the speed and increased resolution offered by ACQUITY Premier Columns. With 8 different UPLC particles of various substrate technologies available, you’re sure to find a silica column that’s right for your application.
