Product Description

Spherisorb C8 columns are general purpose, silica-based reversed-phase columns that contain an Octyl ligand. These USP L7 columns are used when you require a less retentive sorbent compared to the Spheriorb ODS columns.

Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge, 80Å, 5 µm, 4.6 mm X 10 mm, 3/pk

To increase the lifespan of your chromatographic analytical columns without reducing their chromatographic analytical performance, connect your Spherisorb C8 analytical columns to the Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge. The lab equipment maintains the columns' UPLC, UHPLC, and HPLC separation efficacy while removing chemical and particle impurities.

To safeguard and increase the lifespan of your Spherisorb C8 analytical column, use the Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge. The lab equipment enhances the performance of the analytical column by lowering particle contamination from the mobile phase stream. All Spherisorb C8 analytical columns with a 4.6 mm I.D. and 5 µm sorbent particles will function with this cartridge. The workhorse of HPLC method development, the Spherisorb C8, may be used throughout a broad pH range for the mobile phase. The C8 ligand is trifunctionally linked to create a column that can be used for the majority of HPLC separations and has the widest pH range, the best low pH stability, and the least amount of column bleed.

The Waters UPLC reversed-phase liquid chromatography columns were designed specifically for use with the Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge. Due to its design, the lab equipment is a solitary piece that may be fastened to the intake side of a Waters Spherisorb C8 Column. Like all lab equipment that is manufactured and distributed by Waters, the Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge is produced in our facilities, where it goes through strict monitoring and quality control throughout its making process. The cartridge is then tested for its performance to ensure that you only receive the best quality lab equipment, as promised by Waters.

Invest in the LCMS Certified Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk so you can store your analytes and samples in a neutral and chemically stable vial. The vial is tested using UV to ensure that there are no traces of contaminants that may interfere with your analysis.

Is There A pH Limit For The Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge?

The Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge listed here is able to function across the 2-8 pH range.

What Is The Maximum Pressure That The Spherisorb C8 Guard Cartridge Can Tolerate?
