Ultrahydrogel Column, 10 µm, 7.8 mm X 300 mm, 1K - 7M, 1/pk

The Waters Ultrahydrogel Column is a sophisticated aqueous-compatible gel column, which is perfect for the analytical and preparative separations of water-soluble polymers. The gel used in the Ultrahydrogel Column is a cross-linked hydroxylated polymer that contains some residual amine functionality. Using the lab equipment, you can conduct the characterization of a large range of compounds. These include oligomers, oligosaccharides, and biological substances like polysaccharides, nucleic acids, proteins, and peptides. In addition to this, the column makes it fairly easy to identify cationic, anionic, and amphoteric polymers as well.

The product listed here has measurements of 7.8 x 300 mm. It offers high-resolution that is superior to other traditional aqueous SEC Columns available in the market. The Ultrahydrogel Column exhibits the ability to show working prowess across an exceptionally wide pH range of 2-12. In addition to this, it offers greater flexibility for the mobile phase while causing minimal non-size exclusion effects. The analytical column also offers compatibility with high concentrations of organic solvents (up to 20% organic, or 50% organic when the mobile phase is introduced by the gradient). The Ultrahydrogel Column is the ultimate addition to any lab that provides analysis of oligomers and biological substances as it delivers high resolution and low adsorption. In addition to these features, the column also supports a wide range of molecular weight separations within a temperature range of 10 °C to 80 °C.

Like all products manufactured by Waters, the Ultrahydrogel Column is manufactured under the strictest cGMP, ISO 9001 conditions where each unit undergoes screening and careful monitoring to meet the strict standards. The columns are also tested and certified for their use, making certain that they will continue to deliver optimal performance, and enhance the selectivity, sensitivity, and speed of your analysis.

What Is Meant By Water-based Polymers?

Water-based or water-soluble polymers are substances that dissolve, disperse, or swell in water. This enables them to modify the physical properties of aqueous systems in the form of gelation, thickening, or emulsification/stabilization.
