Nova-Pak C18 Guard Column, 60Å, 4 µm, 3.9 mm X 20 mm, 2/pk
Based on a 4 µm particle, Nova-Pak bonded phase C18 columns have been created specifically to facilitate both higher resolution in separations and faster, more efficient chromatography when compared with their traditional 5 µm predecessors. Shorter columns can be used to reduce solvent consumption without compromising the resolution necessary for complex mixtures. Nova-Pak columns are hand-picked by experts who rely on the performance and innovation of Waters’ HPLC lab equipment to help your laboratory reach its full chromatographic potential. Included in this cutting-edge collection are Nova-Pak C18 Guard Columns to extend the lifetime of these columns.
Nova-Pak C18 Columns are general purpose and silica-based reversed-phase columns that rely on 4 µm technologies. This means they can offer an unparalleled range of possibilities in separation, including high efficiency and carbon surface areas. Through the facilitation of faster separations that produce concentrated fractions, less solvent is required and significantly reduced operating costs are possible in laboratories. If testing is needed, Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material can be purchased separately and used.
This guard column boasts the same 4 µm particle size and silica-based particle as its column counterpart and comes with two in a package. The Nova-Pak C18 Guard Column has an inner diameter of 3.9 mm and a length of 20 mm. By extending the space between the injector and the analytical column, your column is protected from contaminants, leading to a prolonged column lifetime, saving time and money.
What Happens If My Nova-Pak C18 Guard Column Does Not Work Properly?
All Waters Guard Columns and Guard Columns holders are part of a warranty program. Any guard column or holder that fails to perform satisfactorily can be replaced by Waters with no cost, provided Waters is notified within 90s days of your receipt of the product. All returned guard columns must include a Return Authorization Number granted through the Waters Customer Service Department. Approval is subject to exclusions, including physical damage to the guard column due to misuse or abuse; damage to the guard column due to use with incompatible solvents or use at incorrect temperatures and pressures; failure or compromised performance due to normal use. A Waters representative can assist with service and application questions.
