Symmetry C18 Column, 100Å, 3.5 µm, 4.6 mm X 75 mm, 1/pk
Achieve outstanding reproducibility year on year with the Symmetry C18 Columns. No need to continuously revalidate and redevelop methods with each batch of new columns. Save labor costs that accumulate with the traditional analytical columns that require QC column testing.
Manufactured in the cGMP, ISO9001, and ISO13485 certified facilities where each step is monitored and strictest conditions are ensured, the Symmetry C18 Columns offer the tightest specifications in the market to provide consistent results every time. This is made possible by engineering the Symmetry C18 Columns with high purity raw materials and column packing procedures that result in the most reproducible HPLC column.
Maximize efficiency and precision in your lab with the monofunctionally bonded C18 ligand that is present in these columns. They also include a high purity base-deactivated silica for the highest reproducibility. The Symmetry C18 Columns also have the narrowest ligand surface coverage (ligand density) specifications in the industry, resulting in minimal shifts in resolution and more reproducible batch to batch results.
Increase your productivity with the ideal lab equipment that allows easier method transfer between labs around the globe. The Symmetry C18 Columns are also accompanied by a three-page Certificate of Analysis which contains the specifications as well as the results of 22 critical tests that each column needs to clear before being quality assured.
The XBridge BEH C18 Column 300Å, 2.5 µm, 4.6mm X 150 mm, 1/pk is similar to the product listed here but suitable for analytes with particle size 2.5 µm and pore size 300Å.Why Would I Need A Guard Column?
The use of a Waters guard column of matching chemistry and particle size between the injector and main column is recommended to enhance the analytical column’s life. The use of a high-performance matching guard column is of high importance in order to protect the main column while not compromising or changing the analytical resolution. Please note that the Guard columns need replacement regularly as determined by the sample contamination. Indications that a guard column needs replacing include when system backpressure steadily increases above a set pressure limit. The sudden appearance of split peaks is also an indicator that you may need to replace the guard column.
