Product Description

The 3 cc Oasis MAX cartridges contain the Oasis MAX, which is a novel, mixed-mode polymeric sorbent that has been optimized to achieve higher selectivity and sensitivity for extracting acidic compounds with anion-exchange groups. Since the Oasis MAX sorbent is water wettable, it maintains its capability for higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, which means there is no need to take extraordinary steps to keep the sorbent beds from drying out during the critical steps prior to sample loading. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.

Oasis MAX 3 cc Vac Cartridge, 60 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 30 µm, 100/pk

Depend on the patented Waters Oasis MAX cc Vac Cartridge’s chemistry for all your sample preparation needs. The Oasis MAX (Mixed-mode Anion eXchange) reversed-phase sorbent is ideal for acids and has been designed specially to overcome the limitations of the traditional silica-based mixed-mode SPE sorbents.

The sorbent of the Oasis MAX cc Vac Cartridge is polymeric and stable from 0-14 pH. It is a strong, mixed-mode anion exchange and water wettable sorbent which enables you to utilize reliable SPE in methods to detect, confirm, or quantify acidic compounds as well as acidic metabolites in biological fluids.

Separate analytes from complex samples in both fractions, that is acidic compounds as well as basic/neutral compounds using the selectivity and ruggedness of the Oasis MAX cc Vac Cartridge. In addition to this, the Oasis MAX cc Vac Cartridge successfully removes phospholipids and lysophospholipids which are the key contributors to ion suppression in LC/MS/MS analysis.

The Oasis MAX cc Vac Cartridge is manufactured under tightly controlled and closely monitored conditions at the Waters ISO 9000 registered facilities. The facility is compliant with cGMP guidelines of the U.s Food and Drug Administration for Class 1 medical devices, meaning you get lab equipment tested to the highest standards of quality.

How Do I Change Columns From Solvent "A" to Solvent "B"?

If the two solvents are miscible, it is generally possible to switch directly from one solvent to another at 0.1 - 0.2 ml/minute (see your column care and use manual) if the two solvents are miscible. However, if the solvents are not miscible, an intermediate solvent will have to be used. This is one in which both solvents are miscible.
