Oasis MAX Online Column, 80Å, 30 µm, 2.1 mm X 20 mm, 1/pk
Designed to overcome the limitations of traditional silica-based mixed-mode SPE sorbents, Oasis MAX sorbent is a mixed-mode anion-exchange and reversed-phase sorbent that offers high selectivity and sensitivity for acidic compounds. As a strong mixed-mode anion-exchange, water-wettable, polymeric sorbent stable from pH 0 to 14, chromatographers can now benefit from reliable SPE methods to detect, confirm, or quantify acidic compounds and acidic metabolites in biological fluids.
As part of the Oasis family of sorbents, the Oasis MAX Online Column is water-wettable, allowing for excellent retention capacity for a wider polarity spectrum of analytes, even when the sorbent bed runs dry during conditioning or sample loading. This allows you to achieve rugged and robust SPE methods without the need for repeat sample preparation.
SPE procedures can benefit from use of the Oasis Max Online Column’s selectivity and ruggedness to enable separations of analytes from complex samples into two fractions: acidic compounds and basic/neutral compounds. These fractionated extracts can then be analyzed by multiple analysis methods or multiple techniques. As an online column, these are specifically made for rugged, reproducible, ultra-fast, online analysis and are compatible with all online analysis systems and lab equipment. It can be used with any appropriate narrow-bore analytical columns, including XBridge, Sunfire, Atlantis, XTerra, Symmetry, or XSelect columns, like the XSelect CSH C18 XP Column, 130Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 1/pk, and features traditional HPLC column fittings and hardware.
All Oasis sorbents have demonstrated excellent long-term reproducibility across batches due to careful process design and stringent quality controls that have set new standards in reproducibility for SPE sorbents. All Oasis sorbent and devices are manufactured in Waters ISO 9000 registered facilities that are compliant with cGMP guidelines of the US Food and Drug Administration. Multiple batches have been used successfully on bioanalytical assays in a regulated laboratory environment.
What Is ISO 9000?
ISO 9000 is a defined set of international standards regarding quality management and quality assurance. The standards were developed to help companies effectively document the quality system elements needed to maintain efficient quality systems. Unlike cGMP guidelines, ISO 9000 guidelines are not specific to any industry and are used in organizations of all sizes. The goal is to help companies satisfy customers, meet regulatory requirements, and achieve continual improvement. It is the first step in a quality system.
