Product Description

Certified Sep-Pak Silica Vac cartridges contain a polar sorbent that is used primarily to adsorb analytes from non-polar solvents like hydrocarbons, chloro- or fluoro-substituted hydrocarbons, or less polar esters and ethers. Certified Sep-Pak Silica Vac cartridges can also be used in an aqueous medium as a cation exchanger of intermediate strength. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments. Certified Sep-Pak Silica cartridges are quality controlled to ensure reproducible separations. The cartridges provide superior performance for ultra-low-level analyte detection by reducing the potential for background interferences found in many SPE devices. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.

Certified Sep-Pak Silica 6 cc Vac Cartridge, 1 g Sorbent per Cartridge, 55-105 µm, 30/pk

The polar sorbent included in Certified Sep-Pak Silica Vac cartridges is typically utilized to adsorb analytes from non-polar solvents like hydrocarbons, chloro- or fluoro-substituted hydrocarbons, or less polar esters and ethers. Approved Sep-Pak Silica Vac cartridges can also be used as a cation exchanger of moderate strength in an aqueous solution. The vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments are intended to be used with these syringe-barrel-style cartridges.

The quality of certified Sep-Pak Silica cartridges is inspected to guarantee consistent separations. By lowering the likelihood of background interferences, which are a common occurrence in SPE devices, the cartridges offer greater performance for ultra-low-level analyte detection. The vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments are intended to be used with these syringe-barrel-style cartridges.

The Sep-Pak Silica 6 cc Vac Cartridge is constructed only from packings of the highest caliber that are specifically created and manufactured for sample preparation. These packings have regular activity and capacity, are clean and dry. Because of the high-quality packings employed in the lab apparatus, the surface area, pore size, and particle size distributions are excellent. Additionally, Waters makes sure that the integrity of the lab equipment is maintained during both the production and delivery processes. To maintain product integrity, packaging inactivity, and purity until the package is opened in your lab, the vacuum cartridge is sealed in a specially constructed, non-contaminating poly-foil bag.

Make sample extraction and preparation simpler in your lab by adding the Sep-Pak Silica 6 cc Vac Cartridge. You may easily extract and transfer solvents, solutions, and samples with the 6 cc Vac Cartridge without spilling any samples or analytes or losing the sample due to evaporation. What May Be The Root Cause Of Frequent Shutdowns of LC Systems?

Overpressure protection is included in HPLC pumps and systems to ensure system security and safeguard the columns and equipment. The pump may turn off to protect the LC system if the system is set too low or there is too much back pressure. Some possible explanations include clearing the lines or eliminating any remaining or crystallized material that may be strangling or clogging the system.
