Oasis PRiME HLB 96-well Plate, 30 mg Sorbent per Well, 1/pk
Over 20 years ago, Waters revolutionized solid-phase extraction (SPE) products by introducing the first water-wettable yet hydrophobic and polymeric sorbent in Oasis HLB. This creation led to a family of sorbents and lab equipment that have continued to be market leaders and the choice of chromatographers globally since 1996. Built on this same novel technology, Oasis PRiME HLB has set new performance standards for routine analyses. The sorbent leads to cleaner samples that need less time and less effort than even previous Oasis HLB sorbents. With the same benefits as its predecessors, Oasis PRiME HLB has enabled the elimination of condition and equilibration steps that are necessary when using other polymeric sorbents.
The Oasis PRiME HLB 96-well Plate has 96 wells, each containing 30 mg of Oasis PRiME HLB sorbent, designed to increase speed in both the plate itself and within overall processing workflows. In addition to eliminating the steps of condition and equilibration, viscous samples are able to flow more easily through cartridges and plates due to an optimization in frit and sorbent design. Flow rates through the device are therefore much faster than common matrices including plasma, urine, and milk. When compared to other SPE devices, optimal load, wash, and elution flow rates require less vacuum or positive pressure to create.
With one plate in each package, the Oasis PRiME HLB 96-well Plate is made from a durable polypropylene. If your analysis requires it, Waters also offers Oasis PRiME HLB 96-well µElution Plate, 3 mg Sorbent per Well, 1/pk. All Oasis plates are compatible with most liquid-handling robotic systems for automated and reliable high-throughput SPE
What Are The Benefits Of Sample Preparation?
hen you need to remove matrix interferences, SPE is able to increase signal to noise by simplifying the chromatographic separation and reduce variability in analytical results due to matrix inconsistencies. An increase in column lifetimes and decrease in system downtime can also be observed. Sample preparation is useful in cases where scientists need to concentrate analytes of interest, especially when they are present in low levels that are difficult to quantitate, as well as cases where it is necessary to transfer analytes of interest into a solution that can be tested.
