Oasis PRiME HLB 3 cc Vac Cartridge, 60 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 100/pk
The Oasis PRiME HLB 3 cc Vac Cartridge uses the Oasis universal sorbent for acidic, neutral, and basic compounds. The Hydrophilic-Lipophilic-Balanced, Oasis HLB is a water-wettable, reversed-phase sorbent that caters to all your SPE needs. It offers a neutral polar hook for enhanced retention of polar analytes by providing reversed-phase capacity.
The Oasis PRiME HLB 3 cc Vac Cartridge is the ideal lab equipment as it offers some key features such as stability at pH extremes and in a wide range of solvents, extraordinary retention of polar compounds, and a relative hydrophobic retention capacity that is 3 times higher than that of traditional silica-based SPE sorbents like C18.
The Oasis PRiME HLB 3 cc Vac Cartridge sets the new performance standard for solid-phase extraction cleanup in routine analysis. The sorbent of the Oasis PRiME HLB 3 cc Vac Cartridge provides reversed-phase cleanup of acidic, basic, and neutral compounds from complex sample matrices. In addition to this, viscous samples can be processed with faster flows through the device and less plugging. Based on the Oasis HLB sorbent technology, this water-wettable sorbent does not require conditioning and equilibration to provide excellent recoveries.

The kit has been specifically designed for rapid development of SPE methods for LC/MS analysis. The kit contains 40 cartridges - 10 each of the appropriate Oasis mixed-mode, ion-exchange chemistry: MAX (strong anion exchanger), WAX (weak anion exchanger), MCX (strong cation exchanger), and WCX (weak cation exchanger). Using these chemistries, sample preparation method development can be quickly and easily achieved with the use of only two SPE protocols.

How Is Pre-Treatment Done For Multiresidue Contaminant Analysis In Food Samples?
For Pre-treatment, homogenize the sample with appropriate blenders or grinders. Extract 1–5 g of the homogenized sample with 10 mL extraction solvent (8 mL extraction solvent is recommended for eggs.). After shaking for at least 30 minutes, centrifuge the sample at approximately 2500 rcf for a minimum of 5 minutes. Remove the supernatant for the next clean-up step.
