QuEChERS 150 mg MgSO4, 50 mg PSA, 30 mg C18, 30 mg Al-N, 2 mL Tube, 100/pk
The QuEChERS method stands for Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe. The QuEChERS method followed by d-SPE is an easy-to-follow sample preparation technique that is ideally used for running multi-residue analysis for pesticides, veterinary drugs, and mycotoxins in a variety of agricultural and food-based products.
Many of the fruits and vegetables, such as spinach, red sweet pepper, and carrots, have very high content of non-polar pigments such as the carotenoids or chlorophyll. It is essential to remove some of the matrix constituents and pigments, especially for gas chromatography setups to ensure the pigments don't accumulate in the injection port or foul the injection liner. The QuEChERS effectively remove some of the components, such as fatty acids and sugars; however, samples may require additional treatment if they have high levels of pigment.
This particular lab equipment is a 2-mL tube used for cleanup following the exact step in QuEChERS sample preparation. Each d-SPE tube contains PSA, C18, and Alumina neutral sorbents suitable for mycotoxins analysis. Specifically, this tube contains 50 mg MgSO4, 50 mg PSA, 30 mg C18, and 30 mg Al-N. QuEChERS (pronounced catchers) methods are used for multi-mycotoxin residue analyses in grains. This package contains 100 d-SPE tubes.

You might also like the QuEChERS 1200 mg MgSO4, 400 mg PSA, 400 mg C18 and 400 mg GCB, 15 mL Tube, 50/pk, which is a clean-up tube used for the extract from step 1 in QUECHERS sample preparation. This d-SPE tube contains PSA, C18, and GCB for the clean up of fatty and pigmented samples. QUECHERS methods are generally used for multi-pesticide residue analyses in food. This is a 50 pack of tubes containing the d-SPE components.
What Is The Importance Of Adding A Gradient System?
Gradient systems allow you to control the flow rate and solvent/buffer changes to improve chromatographic separations. Additionally, they can be used to sharpen separations and to speed column re-equilibration. A four-solvent gradient system is useful for methods development when equipped with methanol, acetonitrile, ammonium acetate buffer, and formic acid solution. Many times, quality control laboratories also use isocratic systems that run a constant-composition premixed mobile phase for rapid separations.
