Product Description

Oasis PRiME HLB sets the new performance standard for solid phase extraction cleanup in routine analysis. This sorbent will provide reversed-phase cleanup of acidic, basic and neutral compounds form complex sample matrices. Oasis PRiME HLB has been designed to simplify SPE with easy to follow protocols. It also produces cleaner samples by removing greater than 95% of common matrix interferences such as salts, proteins and phospholipids, and pigments. Oasis PRiME HLB is available in "Plus" format cartridges with luer fittings. These versatile cartridge formats are compatible for use with standard syringes or can be fitted with appropriate reservoirs for use with vacuum or positive pressure manifolds.

Oasis PRiME HLB Plus Light Cartridge, 100 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 50/pk

As the first of its kind SPE sorbent, Oasis PRiME HLB has set a new performance standard for routine analyses in chromatography by providing cleaner samples in less time and with less effort. This has allowed scientists to benefit from performing SPE prior to chromatographic analyses, especially in those that use mass detection. Benefits like a reduction in matrix effects and chromatographic complexity, along with the ability to increase sample concentration, have made Oasis PRiME HLB a highly respected sorbent material.

The copolymer used in Oasis PRiME HLB is unique because it is extremely water-wettable, allowing for the elimination of the condition and equilibration steps required when using silica-based and other polymeric sorbents. This ability saves valuable sample processing time and costly solvent purchase and disposal that may occur with other sorbents. Chromatographers can also choose the sample preparation method that best meets their analytical needs, as the simple design of the sorbent and protocols makes it easy to implement into your workflow and existing lab equipment.

By removing more than 95% of common matrix interferences like proteins, salts, and phospholipids, Oasis PRiME HLB allows for use of the generic protocol without additional optimization being necessary. These cleaner samples mean less variability in analytical results between samples, allowing for more robust analysis.

Oasis PRiME HLB is available in a variety of formats, including the Oasis PRiME HLB Plus Short Cartridge, 335 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 50/pk as well as the Plus Light Cartridge. The Plus format cartridges offer Luer fittings and are compatible for use with standard syringes or can be fitted with the appropriate reservoirs to allow for use with both vacuum and positive pressure manifolds.

What Is The Three-Step Protocol For Oasis PRiME HLB?

As a part of simplifying SPE, Oasis PRiME HLB allows for a three-step process of catch and release SPE. This allows for the removal of most matrix interferences as well as sample concentration and enrichment. This protocol is ideal for routine bioanalytical sample clean-up as well as other reversed-phase solid phase extraction applications. In simple terms, the process begins with loading a pre-treated sample, which is then washed with 5% MeOH. It can then be eluted with 90/10 acetonitrile/MeOH.
