Product Description

Oasis PRiME MCX is a novel, mixed-mode polymeric sorbent that has been optimized to achieve higher selectivity and sensitivity for extracting basic compounds with cation-exchange groups. The unique balance of hydrophobicity and water-wettability of the Oasis PRiME MCX sorbent means you will never have to worry about poor results if individual wells of the 96-well plate dry out during the critical steps prior to sample loading. Oasis PRiME MCX has been designed to simplify SPE with fast, easy protocols. It also produces cleaner samples by removing greater than 99% of phospholipids from complex sample matrices. Based on the Oasis MCX sorbent technology, this water-wettable sorbent does not require conditioning and equilibration to provide excellent recoveries.

Oasis PRiME MCX 96-well µElution Plate, 2 mg Sorbent per Well, 30 µm, 1/pk

Minimize loss of analytes during critical steps while enhancing overall extraction efficiency by using the Oasis PRiME MCX 96-well µElution Plate. The plate well of the lab equipment functions more like a chromatography column. The Oasis PRiME MCX 96-well µElution Plate uses the Oasis µElution technology which depends on an internally tapered well, packed with high capacity Oasis sorbent, having an aspect ratio, H/D=1.15, nearly 9x that of the regular SPE disk technology.

The Oasis PRiME MCX 96-well µElution Plate provides some unique features that are immensely beneficial for extraction and analysis. These include sensitive, robust, reproducible results without evaporation and reconstitution. Using these unique attributes of the Oasis µElution Plate, you can perform superior analysis in terms of sensitivity, selectivity, and ruggedness.

The Oasis PRiME MCX 96-well µElution Plate is a valuable piece of lab equipment that has been specially created to enable you to confidently conduct SPE cleanup in small sample volumes (10-25 µL) up to a maximum of 375 µL while ensuring analyte enrichment. Combined with proven Oasis chemistries and straightforward protocols, the award-winning, patented design of Waters OASIS µElution plate offers high analyte recovery and clean extracts in elution volumes as low as 25 µL. These qualities make the Oasis PRiME MCX 96-well µElution Plate a great addition to lab equipment as minimizing SPE elution volume is critical for SPE performance, recovery, and precision.

Using the Oasis PRiME MCX 96-well µElution Plate, you can easily increase sample enrichment by as much as 15 times. It eliminates the need for the time-consuming step for eluate concentration by evaporation as well as evaporation/reconstitution if a proper LC/MS mobile phase eluting solvent is chosen. The Oasis sorbent offers a unique balance of hydrophobicity and water wettability that ensures that you will never have to worry about poor results if individual wells of the 96-well plate dry out.

What Is The Principle Of Liquid-Liquid Extraction?

Liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) is based on the principle that a solute or an analyte can distribute itself in a certain ratio between two immiscible solvents, usually water (aqueous phase) and organic solvent (organic phase).
