Sep-Pak tC18 1 cc Vac Cartridge, 50 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 37-55 µm, 100/pk

As the most reference family of Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) products for superior sample preparation, Sep-Pak SPE lab equipment has been recognized throughout the world. Sep-Pak tC18 cartridges contain a sorbent that is a strongly hydrophobic, silica-based bonded phase that can be used to adsorb analytes from aqueous solutions. This trifunctional bonding chemistry allows for increased hydrolytic stability. Similar to Sep-Pak C18 sorbent, this sorbent is often used for applications including pesticides in water and odorants in water.

This 1 cc Vac Cartridge offers a range of benefits when compared to other processes, including lower cost due to reduced solvent and reagent consumption, increased recoveries, simplified protocol, enhanced safety, and improved accuracy. The high-quality packings are designed and made especially for sample preparation: clean, dry, and reproducible in activity and capacity. They have optimal surface area, pore size, and particle size distributions. The weight of each packing is controlled within + 5% of specification to ensure reproducible performance, and the cartridge is sealed in a specially designed, non-contaminating poly-foil pouch that maintains product integrity, packing activity, and purity until the package is opened.

Each order includes 100 cartridges with a volume of 50 mg per cartridge. Cartridges can be paired with a Long Needle Valve for Sep-Pak Device Vacuum Manifold, 20/pk as needed. All Sep-Pak materials are manufactured in Waters ISO 13485 and ISO 9002 registered facilities which are in compliance with cGMP guidelines for the United States food and Drug Administration for the production of Class 1 Medical Devices. Cartridges are compatible with other Sep-Pak equipment.

What Is A Vac Cartridge?

As one of the SPE device formats available, the Sep-Pak Vac Cartridge is known for its economical automation. The Sep-Pak Vac Cartridge includes all the benefits of Waters’ Sep-Pak cartridges along with optimization to enable delivery of the lowest cost sample preparation. These cartridges consist of molded, high purity polypropylene syringe-barrel bodies, with two polyethylene frits to contain the packing material. Standard male-Luer ips permit use with multi-position vacuum manifolds. Each syringe barrel includes color-coded printing to identify the brand and sorbent. These cartridges range in size from 1 cc to 60 cc, and can contain between 5 mg and 10 g of sorbent.
