What’s so special about the Foreline Trap FL20K?
For one, this trap is used across many industries and applications because of its ability to absorb and remove oil mist from where it shouldn’t belong. How it does that is even more interesting, though. The alumina sorbent within the trap traps oil mist dead in its tracks, before the mist can negatively affect your important mass spectrometry analysis. One thing to note, though, is that the Foreline Trap FL20K is also susceptible to absorbing water. Because of this, we recommend installing the Foreline Trap FL20K as close to your vacuum system as possible and use a valved by-pass line.
