AccQ-Tag Ultra Eluent A

As the leading chemistry solution for amino acid analysis, the AccQ-Tag Method is specifically designed for accurate, high-sensitivity UPLC analyses. Based on this method, AccQ-Tag Ultra Chemistry allows for fast and easy derivatization of both primary and secondary amino acids in a single step to achieve unparalleled quantitative results. The full AccQ-Tag Ultra Chemistry Kit is a comprehensive and fully tested set of reagents, columns, and the AccQ-Tag Ultra Eluent A, along with extensive documentation on the included lab equipment.

The AccQ-Tag Ultra Derivatization Kit is a component of the UPLC Amino Acid Analysis Application Solution, which assures an accurate and precise amino acid analyses when used as a complete application solution. In conjunction with the Waters AccQ-Tag Ultra chemistries for amino acid analysis, the solution analyzes protein and peptide hydrolysates for identification and characterization), cell culture media, and the nutritional composition of food and feeds. The solution is not meant for clinical analysis of physiological amino acids.

The UPLC Amino Acid Analysis Solution, including the AccQ-Tag Ultra Eluent A, provides control over the major factors that can commonly cause variability in other amino acid analyses. By using optimized instrumentation and quality controlled chemistries, you will be able to rely on a method that is both rugged and reliable, and a comprehensive, detailed approach that ensures successful analysis of every sample.

Designed by and for scientists, these solutions allow you to remove the guesswork in choosing the best solution for your application needs. The full solution combines industry-leading technologies – instrumentation, chemistries, software, qualification tools, and services – which have been optimized for exceptional performance.

Why Is Amino Acid Analysis Important?

Amino acid analysis is used in several areas of research and is critical for product analysis. Depending on the analytical method, amino acids may play different roles. One reason amino acids are important is they are the basic constituents of proteins. Analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, of the composition of hydrolyzed samples of pure proteins or peptides can be used to identify material and measure its concentration. Additionally, amino acids are also intermediates in metabolic pathways that do not often directly involve proteins. These amino acids are measured as elements of physiological and nutritional studies. This can be important in monitoring the growth of cells in cultures and therefore in the production of biopharmaceuticals.
