Product Description

The RapiFluor-MS™ Dextran Calibration Ladder was developed to help take full advantage of the BEH glycan column, to assist glycan profiling. The glycan profile obtained from UPLC-HILIC/FLR systems can be calibrated against the RapiFluor-MS™-labeled dextran ladder and assigned with glucose unit (GU) values. This calibration ladder provides good peak shape and reliable identification from 2 to 30 Glucose Units, which is twice as much as the other dextran ladder standards. This feature improves the large glycan retention time assignment.

RapiFluor-MS Dextran Calibration Ladder

Waters has developed the RapiFluor-MS™ Dextran Calibration Ladder to help you take full advantage of the BEH glycan column, to assist glycan profiling with Glycan BEH Amide Columns. The glycan profile obtained from UPLC-HILIC/FLR systems can be easily calibrated against the RapiFluor-MS™ Dextran Calibration Ladder. Additionally, assignment of each glycan peak with a calibrated retention time value is generated (in glucose unit/GU values).

The RapiFluor-MS™ Dextran Calibration Ladder is able to deliver good peak shape and reliable identification from 2 to 30 Glucose Units, which is twice as much as the other dextran ladder standards and improves the large glycan retention time assignment.

The RapiFluor-MS Dextran Calibration Ladder is packaged in Waters’ Polypropylene Vials as 50µg of lyophilized solid for direct solubilization and injection.

The synthesization of the RapiFluor-MS Dextran Calibration Ladder is done through a unique process involving ethanolamine reductive amination followed by rapid labeling with RapiFluor-MS. This process produces novel dextran derivatives that exhibit physicochemical properties that are similar to RapiFluor-MS labeled N-glycans.

There is a wide range of Waters standards designed to meet various chromatographic needs. You can learn about them and other products that are compatible with them by using our catalog. Through our website, you can also shop for lab equipment that suits your needs.

You may also want to read more about the GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS Labeling Module 24-Sample, which is intended to be used as a part of the GlycoWorks RapiFluor - MS N-Glycan Kit. RapiFluor-MS's (RFMS) unique chemical attributes provide increased fluorescence quantification and supreme mass spectral response. You need only a single label that provides valuable information from characterization to routine monitoring. This product contains: (1) GlycoWorks RapiFluor - MS™ labeling reagent (1) GlycoWorks RapiFluor - MS reagent solvent Each vial of the GlycoWorks RapiFluor - MS labeling reagent is suitable for 24 reactions.

How Should The RapiFluor-MS Dextran Calibration Ladder Be Stored?

When the RapiFluor-MS Dextran Calibration Ladder arrives, it should be stored in the original packaging frozen at -20 C for long-term storage before solubilization. Once it has been solubilized, it can be aliquoted and frozen at -80 C for up to 3 months or stored at -4-10C for no more than a week. It is recommended that any freeze/thaw be avoided that could lead to degradation.
