Ensure that your solvents, samples, and solutions are safe and securely stored using the Waters Blue, 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum. Its universal screw cap mechanism makes it compatible with most vials. Screwing the cap applies a mechanical force that squeezes the septum between the glass rim and the cap. Our blue 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Caps and PTFE/Silicone Septum form an excellent seal and mechanically holds the septum in place during piercing. No tools are required for assembly, making it easy to use lab equipment. The cap is manufactured using chemically inert materials to ensure there is no interference with your analytes.
The PTFE/Silicone Septum is recommended for multiple injections and sample storage. It demonstrates excellent resealing characteristics and is chemical resistance until punctured. Once it has been punctured, the septum will have the chemical compatibility of silicone. The recommended Working temperature range for the PTFE/Silicone Septum is from -40 ˚C to 200 ˚C.
