Polypropylene 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum, 300 µL Volume, 100/pk

Opt for the use of the Polypropylene 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial in your lab. The vial is clean polypropylene-molded and is ideally suited in applications where there is a concern that the compound or molecule may stick to a polar glass surface.

The Polypropylene 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial is a cost-effective alternative to glass and maintains its reputation as a sought-after option for chromatographers in sample vials. Since polypropylene is a non-reactive plastic, it is used where glass lab equipment is not an option. It also enables incineration while still sealed, which minimizes exposure to potentially hazardous substances. The material is suited for a maximum temperature use of 135 °C.

The Polypropylene 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial comes equipped with a universal screw cap. Screwing the cap applies a mechanical force that squeezes the septum between the glass rim and the cap, forming an excellent seal and mechanically holding the septum in place during piercing. It does not require any tools for assembly. Polypropylene vials with screw caps are available using the Preslit PTFE/Silicone septum as well as with Polyethylene Septumless Cap options.

Waters vials undergo testing and are certified for quality and cleanliness to make sure there is no interference in your results and that they are always reliable. The vials are compatible with all autosamplers so you can use them with ease. This vial comes with 100 in each package and a volume of 300 µL.

You may want to invest in the Blue, 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 100/pk as well. The preslit PTFE/Silicone septum of the cap is suitable for multiple injections with an operating temperature range from -40 °C to 200 °C. It also eliminates coring from bottom draw-port needles. This septum also provides adequate venting to prevent vacuum formation in the sample vial and delivers excellent sample draw reproducibility.
