Certified Container Kit
Add the Waters Certified Container Kit to your collection of lab equipment as it provides reliable results, unlike generic or other brands of media containers. At 15 ppb, Waters Certified Containers are free from any potential contaminants to eliminate chromatography ghost peaks associated with TOC. In addition to this, the components of the Waters Certified Containers Kit are also fully compatible with instrumentation by other manufacturers. You can easily opt for them in any process where the stability of glass chemistry is critical, with the utmost confidence in their performance. The Kit includes (4) 1 Liter bottles, (3) 500 mL bottles, and 1 Cap Kit that can be used on any LC system, including, but not limited to, UPLC and LC-MS.
The quality and cleanliness of all consumables used in the chromatographic process are critical for reliable and accurate results, especially as the detection limits of analytical instrumentation continue to improve. In chromatographic analysis, the containers used for mobile phase are an often overlooked component of trace impurities. Unlike the generic or non-optimized brands of mobile phase containers, Waters Certified Container Kits enable LC and LC-MS users to obtain reliable results.
There are several advantages gained when using high purity solvents that are impacted by both the cleanliness and purity of the glass containers, such as the ones in the Certified Container Kit. Eliminating sources of solvent contamination is critical for achieving accurate measurements with your analytical instrumentation. These ultra-clean containers are Type 1, Class A Borosilicate glass that conforms to ASTM E-438 and meets U.S. Pharmacopoeia specifications for Type 1 Borosilicate Glass.
Each container in the Waters Certified Container Kit is uniquely processed, treated, and sealed in a Mylar bag in order to prevent particulate contamination during transportation and storage. Mylar has been opted for the bag material as it does not release phthalates, which are commonly found in plasticizers used in plastic bag manufacturing, and can be released during storage with detrimental effects on LC and LC-MS systems. Certified Container Kits come with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) indicating the Total Organic Carbon (TOC) level.

Are There Any Wash Recommendations For The Certified Container Kit?
The Certified Containers should not be washed in a dishwasher. It is recommended to hand wash without detergent if your standard operating process allows. Designate one solvent or solvent mix for one container.
