Fundamentals of LC/MS provides information to make an effective transition from traditional HPLC detectors to MS detectors. The course covers relevant current ionization techniques and mass analysers. Consideration is also given to converting existing HPLC methods for use with MS detectors. Practical examples guide the users on how to modify the HPLC separation to make them suitable for MS detection.
Who Should Attend
Individuals with no or little LC/MS knowledge that needs to learn the fundamental principles of LC/MS or persons responsible for developing new, or transferring existing, HPLC methods for use with an MS detector. Current practioners of LC/MS may also benefit if their understanding of the technique is limited and they have had no formal training in LC/MS techniques.
Prerequisites
Attendees should be familiar with the basic principles of HPLC.

Customer cancellations will carry a surcharge. Courses are run with small numbers
for maximum effect. Cancellation/transfers within 3-4 weeks of the course start
date will incur a charge of 20% of the course fee, 2-3 weeks prior, 50% of
the course fee, 1 week prior, 100% of course fee.
