Dr. Gerard Rozing to Receive Second Annual Uwe D. Neue Award from Waters
Recognized for Career Contributions to Separation Science, Advancement of HPLC Technology

Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) announced today that Dr. Gerard Rozing, a pioneer in HPLC technology, will receive the second annual Uwe D. Neue Award in Separation Science at the 41st International Symposium on High-Performance-Liquid-Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2014), being held May 11-15 in New Orleans.
The award is for Dr. Rozing’s advancements in analytical instruments for separation science and a career marked by significant contributions to the field. Dr. Rozing will receive his award at the Uwe D. Neue Award section Tuesday afternoon, May 13th, 2014. Dr. Rozing will open the session with a talk titled Current and Future Perspectives on UHPLC; Requirements for Improved Abilities and Functionality.
Dr. Rozing has been widely recognized by the separation science community as an outstanding researcher for his ability to bridge fundamental science with technical solutions in an industrial environment, as well as his high-level lecturing at diverse symposia and educational training courses. Dr. Rozing has authored 57 well-cited publications (total 1,726 times), mainly in the separation sciences, and holds six U.S. patents.
This is the second Uwe D. Neue Award, honoring late scientist and Waters® Corporate Fellow, Dr. Uwe Neue. The award was created to recognize scientists that have made and continue to make significant contributions to the field of separation science.
