About the Presenters:
Eric van Beelen, Strategic Technologies Business Development Manager Europe & India, Waters
Eric conducted his Ph.D. at the laboratory of Prof. Nico Nibbering at University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) where he worked on understanding reaction mechanism of organo-metallic complexes with the use of mass spectrometry.
Before joining Waters in 2010 as MS Sales Specialist for the Netherlands, Eric had roles in the Pharmaceutical and Water industry using chromatography and mass spectrometry in the field of medicinal chemistry, metabolite identification and impurity/emerging contaminant identification.
At Waters, Eric is currently responsible for strategic new product introductions and strategic partnerships within the European and Indian markets.

| Ruud Vervoort, European Informatics Business Development Manager, LC Markets, Waters
Ruud conducted his Ph.D. at Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands) with Prof. Carel Cramers on characterization of stationary phases for the liquid chromatographic analysis of basic pharmaceutical compounds.
Before joining Waters in January 2017, Ruud worked for approx. 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He held various management positions in analytical laboratories on an international level, supporting R&D as well as manufacturing of drug substance and drug product.
At Waters Ruud is currently responsible for business development of informatics products in the LC market.
