IonHance MS-Grade Mobile Phase Additives and Buffers
Maximize data quality with high-purity modifiers and buffers
Improving analyte retentivity and peak shape in liquid chromatography (LC) is critical, and mobile-phase additives (i.e., strong acids or buffers) are a common way to do just that. MS applications specifically require high purity mobile-phase additives to reduce background contribution and ensure data quality.
IonHance modifiers can be used for LC and LC-MS techniques, such as reversed-phase separations of proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides, and small molecules. Purified to achieve low metal content and high-quality standards, IonHance modifiers can improve the sensitivity, retentivity, and peak shape of even the toughest separations.

Better MS signal, optical peak shape and retention
IonHance Difluoroacetic Acid is purified through a distillation process to improve the quality of the modifiers. After purification, samples are QC tested to ensure metal content <100 ppb by ICP-MS and purity ≥98% by GC. IonHance DFA is the first available MS-grade DFA that offers high purity and low salt adducts. With IonHance, your lab can achieve an improved MS signal over TFA and improved optical peak shape and retention over FA.
Reduced adduct formation for oligonucleotide analysis
HFIP is a critical mobile phase additive for the retention and separation of oligonucleotides. The weak fluorinated acid exhibits strong hydrogen bonding characteristics and provides advanced ion pairing properties along with amines such as TEA. The volatile nature of HFIP allows for MS compatibility and activates ionization needed for high sensitivity detection of oligonucleotides. IonHance HFIP offers low sodium and potassium levels (<100 ppb) for reduced adduct formation and improved MS data quality.
Simplify the on-line LC-MS analysis of mAb charge variants
IonHance CX-MS pH Concentrates and mobile-phase buffers were designed to deliver robust charge-based separations and high-quality, on-line MS-spectral data when used with the BioResolve SCX mAb Columns. IonHance CX-MS pH Concentrates and mobile-phase buffers are specifically formulated to provide reproducible charge variant LC-MS analyses of Intact mAb and mAb IdeS digests. These concentrates deliver cleaner spectra and significantly reduce non-desired noise, super charging, and ion suppression.
