CORTECS T3 VanGuard Cartridge, 120Å, 2.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk

To protect your column from deterioration and extend its life, use the CORTECS T3 VanGuard Pre-column. Since the lab equipment is made of the same packing material as the CORTECS T3 column, it works perfectly with it. The pre-column is a piece of protective equipment that sits between the injector and the analytical column and keeps chemical contaminants and suspended solids out of the analytical column.

You may be confident that the CORTECS T3 VanGuard Pre-column will perform and protect your Waters analytical column for a long time because it is made with the same high-performance packing materials used in all of Waters analytical columns. The pre-column was created specifically for scenarios requiring a higher capacity for biological fluid purification and/or temperature control.

Like all other Waters equipment, the CORTECS T3 VanGuard Pre-column is made in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant utilizing ultra-pure reagents. Additionally, each batch of CORTECS T3 VanGuard Pre-column packing material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, and the results are held to the highest standards to ensure excellent, repeatable performance. Furthermore, each pre-column is tested and approved for its intended usage, ensuring that it will function at its best and improve the selectivity, sensitivity, and speed of your study.

You can browse through our catalog or through our website to review all of the offerings from Waters and shop for lab equipment as per your laboratory needs. You may also be interested in Neutrals QC Reference Material; The Neutrals QC Reference Material is designed for use with any chromatographic systems containing a UV detector. It is intended to be used as a system benchmarking standard. The mix contains only neutral compounds. When used consistently and control charted, the QC Reference Material will provide confidence in your results, reduce troubleshooting and re-run time, and enable cross-laboratory result comparisons. This reference material is adaptable to a wide variety of separation methods.

How Does One Perform Filtration In The Laboratory Set Up?

Before filling the syringe with a sample, draw around 1 mL of air into the syringe. This will allow air to escape the syringe with the sample. This "air purge" helps the filter device retain less fluid. Fill the syringe with the filtered solution next. Holding the filter device in one hand, twist the loaded syringe to the filter device (without using too much force). To begin filtering, apply mild pressure.
